VESALIUS MC

VESALIUS MC is monopolar and bipolar device, purposely designed for a wide range of surgical treatments. It is an advanced electrosurgical generator of the Vesalius product line. The MC device has been developed for usage in multiple outpatient surgeries and operating rooms. Thanks to the specific combination of the high frequencies of the QMR Technology, the VESALIUS MC product allows cutting and coagulating due to a resonance effect on the tissue. In addition, VESALIUS MC has also a fulguration function (spray coagulation). All of the functions can be activated at the same time both from the handpiece and the pedal.

CUT

Thanks to the QMR Technology the cutting function is caused by a breakdown of molecular bonds at low temperature. Thereby the thermal damage is limited and allows the Surgeon to provide extremely delicate surgical procedures.

COAG

The bipolar coagulation of Vesalius generators is recognized for precision and effectiveness. Differently from the standard electrosurgical high frequency devices (which cause the vessels collapse and tissue necrosis), Vesalius deploys a peculiar waveform (slightly out of resonance) that increases the temperature up to 63-65°C. This triggers the denaturation processes of fibrinogen which turns into fibrin and coagulates the blood, without thermal damage of vessels.
